HABITAT and THRIVENT
VOLUNTEER TRIP

Let’s Expand Our Impact and Make a Difference Together

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County is partnering with Thrivent to provide an exclusive team build opportunity! You’re invited to join us as we come together to rebuild homes and lives in Bowling Green, Kentucky, a resilient town hoping to rebuild after devastation.

In December 2021, two deadly tornados screamed through the melting pot city of Bowling Green in Warren County, Kentucky. The results were dark and widespread and included billions of dollars in damages, with 500 homes, 100 businesses, and 17 lives lost.

A massive recovery effort is underway, and Habitat for Humanity Bowling Green/Warren County is working with families across the community to help them rebuild their homes, hopes, and lives. We are excited to have the opportunity lend a helping hand this fall!

Join us September 21–27, 2025 as we come together for a powerful week of service and impact in Bowling Green. We’ll help rebuild homes, connect with fellow Habitat supporters, and enjoy exploring the surrounding area.

Meet the Trip Leader
Brittany Parish, Volunteer Services Manager

Brittany has always been drawn to the idea that anyone, with the right tools and guidance, can build something extraordinary—not just a house, but a foundation for a better future. Inspired by Habitat for Humanity’s mission from a young age, she turned that inspiration into a career rooted in service and community.

Beginning as a volunteer crew leader, she spent two years honing hands-on skills like her favorites shingling and drywalling while fostering a passion for teamwork and impact. That dedication led to a staff position with Habitat, where she took on roles in special events and volunteer coordination before transitioning to Manager of Volunteer Services. In this role, Brittany connects countless individuals to meaningful opportunities that transform lives.

Brittany’s heart for helping others extends far beyond local projects. It has always been a dream to lead Habitat for Humanity to build trips in new places and eventually around the world. This Thrivent Build trip is a realization of that dream and a chance to create change alongside like-minded individuals.

When not on a build site, Brittany enjoys teaching preschool Sunday school, leading summer camps through their church, baking, taking on DIY home projects, attending concerts, and spending time with her playful Cocker Spaniel.

Brittany is honored to lead this Thrivent Build trip and looks forward to working together to make a lasting impact.
