We believe in a world where everyone — no matter who we are or where we come from — deserves a safe, decent, and affordable place to live. We recognize that, to create this world, our work must always break down barriers, bring people of all backgrounds together, and generate equity, respect, and lasting change. We strive to create a community where people of all races, all faiths and all backgrounds come together in common cause.
We commit to dismantling systemic racism, redressing past discrimination, and advancing equity within our community. As we evaluate our programmatic work, we will specifically examine the extent to which they decrease racial disparities and oppression, particularly in systems and settings known to disproportionately and negatively impact people of color and other marginalized groups; advance solutions that have been developed in collaboration with and have the support of impacted communities; incorporate an intersectional and multi-sector approach to community challenges; and include the investments needed to fully implement and achieve racial equity outcomes.
